My daughter, Zoey, is a creative. I actually think she is way MORE creative than me, and she is 6.5 years old. She often will look at a piece of work I’ve done and create her own. IT. IS. AWESOME. So I thought I should start documenting our dual projects on here in a recurring post titled “Me and Z Artwork.” I hope it inspires all you mamas who are creatives or mamas to-a-creative to try something new with them. My pieces will be available for purchase in my Etsy shop. The canvas in person just shines with the gold laurel leaf details. I used Sargent Art Liquid Metal Acrylic Paint in Gold and just can’t get over it. The quality and color are amazing.
These are titled “Today I Choose Joy.” I have been thinking about this concept lately- choosing joy. It can be very difficulty and many days I don’t want to choose joy but I NEED to choose joy with my attitude, my work and my family. And I need to do this not just for myself but as an example to others. Good days and bad days- choose joy.
Romans 15:13 “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.”
