Did you party like it was 1999? (I had to say it.)

I did something like I’d never done before & have never done since. I went to a concert. This happened to be the Judds Reunion Live Concert, in Phoenix, AZ, on December 31, 1999 (and counting down to January 1, 2000!). Okay, no big deal. I lived in the Phoenix area at the time, and a lot of people went to the concert, right? But, my family is sooooooo not a country music family. I still went to the concert, because it gets even better. Since this was a huge concert for the Judds, they wanted a large choir to appear on stage with them for several songs & sing some BGVs. The Scottsdale Bible Church worship choir got the call, and my Dad (who shepherded & conducted the choir for 20+ years) decided to go for it! It was quite the experience for all involved. And if you ever get your hands on a physical copy of the Live CD, look for the picture of Naomi, Ashley, Wynonna, and…my Dad! It’s a collector’s item, for sure!
