If you’ve ever watched a movie, or even if you haven’t, you’ve probably heard of John Williams. He’s the composer that’s written the film scores for (among others): Star Wars, Jaws, Indiana Jones, and Schindler’s List. Each year, around Labor Day, the Hollywood Bowl pretty much sells out 3 nights in a row for “John Williams: Maestro of the Movies.” Thankfully, Mr. Williams is still able to conduct his works (at age 84) for part of the show. Clips of the films are shown on large screens, while the orchestra is playing. Fans know when to activate their lightsabres. It really is a fun show. The grandparents, parents, and kids in our family all enjoyed it equally.
