Lemon Verbena

In 2007, my husband & I (pre-children) stayed at the Bellevue Club Hotel. The complementary toiletries were L’Occitane brand, and the scent was “Verbena.” We couldn’t get enough of this stuff! It was the most amazing lemon scent! Upon returning home, we drove to the nearest L’Occitane store (27 miles from where we live!) to buy some Verbena items for home use. We were sorely disappointed! In store, they carried “Citrus Verbena,” and it was far from the scent that we had found in Bellevue.

More recently, however, we have found a couple products that are reminiscent of the amazing lemon scent that is L’Occitane Verbena.

SheaMoisture Lemongrass & Ginger Shea Butter Soap is one.

Another is an Etsy find called Rainwater Botanicals…their natural deodorant in the Lemongrass scent.

UPDATE (10/08/2016): I just noticed on the L’Occitane website that they are selling products labeled both “Citrus Verbena” & “Verbena.” Could it really be true?!?!?
